Your ultimate coffee brewing guide

1. French Press

The French press is a classic method that extracts full-flavored coffee. Start by coarsely grinding coffee beans and steeping them in hot water for about 4 minutes. Press down the plunger slowly and pour into your favorite mug.

2. Pour Over

The pour-over method offers a smooth coffee experience. Use a gooseneck kettle for better control over water flow. Bloom the coffee grounds for 30 seconds before slowly pouring water in circular motions until you achieve the desired strength.

3. Espresso

Espresso is a concentrated method achieved with high pressure. Use finely ground coffee and tamp it firmly. Brew for about 25 seconds to get that rich, thick crema that makes your shots perfect for coffee drinks like lattes and mochas.

4. Cold Brew

For a refreshing summer drink, cold brew is ideal. Steep coarsely ground coffee in cold water for 12-24 hours. The longer it steeps, the stronger it gets. Strain and serve over ice, adding milk or flavoring as desired.
